Fabtech 2013 took place in Chicago, IL. Chicago is not my favorite city to have exhibition in the US because they have 8 different union groups. Almost everybody gets confused on the show floor with different union regulations. We had giant metal frame ceiling that sit on the top of the walls underneath. Everything went well until we had to put up a ceiling. Rigging foreman came and told us they couldn't do that, though we emailed them and confirmed with rigging foreman before the show. After running around to look for best possible option, we managed to do it costing less than we originally planned.
