<strong>EXSA is the governing body of the Exhibition industry in South Africa.</strong>


We have been a member of this body since 1998 and in that time, Conrad 

Kullmann the 3D Group Sales and Marketing Director has had his stint as chairman of EXSA.

We have also represented the supplier’s forum within this body for many

years. 3D Group has won many awards for stand excellence, best suppliers, and best personnel during this time. We always make an effort to dress up for the yearly EXSA awards function, to show the commitment, dedication and team work of the Group.

3D Group joined this body in 2007 and has enjoyed the vast worldwide database of suppliers and organizers that is offered.




<strong>OSPI</strong>

<strong>Octanorm Service Partners International</strong>

As a major Octanorm user, The 3D Group was invited to join the OSPI 

family in 2003. This is a group of companies that builds exhibition stands with the use of the Octanorm exhibition system. There are currently 132 companies in 48 countries that are members. The OSPI idea is that we can build an exhibition stand anywhere in the world, with the help of our partners. “Designed here, build there” is the OSPI motto. We all use the same basic material (Octanorm) to achieve our end product, so the final deliverable to our client is achievable anywhere in the world, where we have an OSPI partner.

Our partnerships with OSPI companies around the world has proven to be 

an invaluable investment, be it for our clients exhibiting around the world or our partners clients exhibiting here in South Africa. Here are two examples of this partnership.

3D Group was commissioned by Telkom South Africa to erect and manage an

exhibition stand at the ITU 2007 Exhibition held in Hong Kong. We teamed up with our partner in Hong Kong – Uniplan, and they provided us with a professional and well managed exhibition stand.

In July 2010 we provided our partner in Switzerland – Impact Unlimited,

with the same professional service for their client, Phizer at the IPA 2010 Expo at the Sandton Convention center.

We meet with this group every 18 months to exchange ideas and discuss 

the exhibition market in the worldwide perspective. These meetings give us the opportunity to network with a broadbase of cultures and ideas. In 2008 our meeting was in The Sultan of Oman & Dubai, where we had the opportunity to meet with Sheikh Hasher of Dubai at OSPI’s 40th birthday party at his beach house in Dubai.

In July 2010 the group met again, this time in Shanghai China, where we

had the opportunity to visit the World Expo. The world expo has 500,000 visitors a day, and is on for 6 months. Here we had the pleasure of seeing some of the latest trends in expo design and management.
